Sunday the walleye were almost nonexistant only 1 boat had a keeper that we talked to. Caught 3 smally and 1 slimer on our outing alllllllll day. Nice fish though! No wake on the river right now so be careful. Launching went up in $$$ again. Fishing is only going to get better with warm temperatures. The water averaged 47 degrees. I'd rather it be 57.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
