Saturday marked the third voyage of 2008. With such a late ice-out, I was afraid I'd only have the boat out once before opener. Saturday was about as bad as it could get with the wind and rain/snow, but it sure did feel great to be on the water. Sure is nice to have all the kinks out before opener too smile smiley

I have not been out yet. Hoping to get my ole Skeeter wet this coming weekend if the weather is ok. Can't wait. Isn't his gas price stuff sickening? What a bummer. Am sure it will slow all of us down a lot. Skeeter

Once also but it was a long drive to LOW! As a reminder be carfull buzing around the open water right after ice out. There are still lots of things floating out there from the ice season.

Ah yes Sandburr, we all know about your trip smile smiley I'll have to pick your brain for a while about that one. After seeing your postings and pics, my first excursion will be next year.

Today was my first little dip. I have to replace my bow and keel rollers so I will dip it again tomorrow. It is too cold and windy for me to catch crappie.

I didn't get my own boat out but fished Saginaw Bay in Mi for 6 hr or so. We got several 2-3 # fish. Great eaters. Seemed good to get on the water, needed that fix! Skeeter
