At times, crappies will bite on just about anything, so throw it on there and have fun. At other times, you may need to scale back quite a bit. Small flu flus work well for this. I'm talking 64th or the 80th oz. Sometimes, the smaller the better. Color is going to depend on the lake. I like the ones with just a bit of hair on them.
