In keeping with Minnesotas strong tradition of sporting and conservation, a proposed bill from Sen. Tom Bakk (DFL-Cook) and Rep. David Dill (DFL-Crane Lake) would create a reduced fee fishing license for catch-and-release anglers interested in taking only a few fish per outing.
The reduced fee license would cost two-thirds as much as a regular license and would allow anglers to keep half the standard limit of fish.
Then if they pay only a portion of the cost they should only be ably to fish a portion of the year.It is us as sportsmen and women to practice catch and release, and to only bring home enough for a meal.I'm not for it at all.
