First off great site got me the fish when my buddies couldn't find them so props!

I'm trying to find a place somewhat near the cities (LOW is to dang far away for a weekend trip with my truck) that has sleepers and some fish to catch.

I was looking towards Osakis, Leech or maybe Winnie but finding a sleeper to rent seems easier said then done.. Any ideas for these lakes or any other hidden gems would be awesome!

Otherwise keep up the good work boys!

Bobber Down and I rented out on Rush Lake. The guy we rented from had sleepers too. And the price was not bad at all! I am sure you can get the number of the guy from Bobber Down. It was great fishing! We caught some sunnys and a northern there. About 35 fish total (me catching the most smile smiley )
I will talk to Bobber Down and see if he still has the guys number or a way to get a hold of him!
Welcome to the site! It is really really helpful and the guys are awesome!
Good Luck!

Mille Lacs is full of sleeper rentals and its a pretty short drive for the weekend. Although if you have read some of the reports the lake is pretty slow right now.

Other then that I can't help you too much. If you have a particular area of the state in mind you might try calling some of the local bait shops in the area they might have a lead for you.

Have you tried any resorts up at Winnie yet? This is where we stay in fall. The owners are great and so are the rates. You can rent a cabin for 6 for 200.00. The bite dies off at night anyways, so you can go back to cabin relax, showers, make a good meal ect..

They might have sleepers I'm not sure

good luck
