Went fishing out there yesterday. Lots of little ctappie's and a few keepers. Uncle Tod lost what I believe was a large walleye. Got to have those drags set boyz.

At about 5:00 everbody seemed to be getting off the lake. The fishing just died too. I have never fished this lake before, but 5:00 seems early for a like to shutting down. The water did not look that dark.

Anybody else fish this lake?

It is local to me Walli. I am thinking of heading out there tomorrow. I will chime in if I go.

Sand Burr did you ever make it out there? You sound like you fish this lake a lot. Does this lake shut down early? I could not believe how early everyone was getting off the ice. We never caught anything past 5:30

thanks for any info

Very typical of the lakes in that area. The only one I have seen thats worth a night bite is Rush Lake.

My brother has been spending a lot of time on Rush this year and doing pretty well. I haven't fished any of these lakes. I always spent every weekend on Mille Lacs. I'm looking forward to hitting some of these lakes. I did not know they shut down that early. Thanks for the tip Sand Burr.
