I picked the kid up from school yesterday and hit Chisago lake. In a very short period we caught a bunch of little sunnies. My kid is only 7 so action is what he needs and we had plenty of that. We had a couple we could of kept, but didn't.
Nice local lake to keep the kids crazy for ice fishing.
There had to be 18". Cars driving everywhere. I tried getting on in Slimmers Bay, but they closed that ramp. We drove on the NW corner. Frankies bait plows a road from that spot if there is snow on the lake, but there is not much snow left.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
