Well, we spent a few more days up on LOW. 18th19,&20. COLD COLD COLD!! Wow the temps were around -24 each day we got up. The Brom was are biggest problem it never stoped falling the entire time we were there. We fished about 6 miles out over Pine Island in about 33ft. Fish were down there but getting them to bite was a bit more work this trip. We ended up with 16 fish for the two of us.Biggest was only 17 inchs. Lost a few because of the soft bite. No fish caught up half way this time. weather played a big part on this trip, but it didnt stop us from having FUN!! Going back up on FEB. 4th. Will post again.
If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
