I fished Lake Minnetonka yesterday and caught absolutely nothing. We used everything; leeches, worms, jigs, Gulp, and minnows. We tried about 8 different places too. If anyone has a tip on where the fish are on Minnetonka and what I should use that would be great if you could post it.
Been many years since I have fished the lake. I gave up because of all the traffic. Used to catch a lot of bass there on the weed edges. Still, 'Tonka has a fairly good reputation for bass. You might have to wait until the bass season opens and give that a try.
As for other species, I have caught walleyes and crappies, but really been a long time and I don't exactly remember the spots. Greys Bay seems to ring a bell though.
I think there are others here who could probably help you better then I can.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
