Anybody have a report on ice conditions. Here in the Duluth area, our local lakes are slush covered so bad that ATV and sleds have a hard time getting out. It no fun fishing in 10" of standing water. Also hoping somebody will post when the tullies start to bite Thanks>>>>later the load
Loadmaster, Welcome to the site, we hope you stick around a while! As far as the ice on Big Sandy goes, I was out there this last weekend and there are still lots of slushy spots, but if you look around enough, there are a few spots without any. We ended up fishing in the narrows on the South West side of Webster bay and there was about 14" of good ice and no slush, but there was no fish either . Good luck out there!
The Fisher. No I am an open water fishing crazy man as well. Fish in a couple of leagues here in the Duluth area. The Mn Multi species Tourney and the Duluth Thursday night league. My son started the Duluth area Ball league along with Doug P. Is anybody driving out yet???? and if so what landing are they using. Thanks>>>later the load

Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
