Today was a very exciting day smile smiley as I took the red baron 8 mile out on upper red lake. Teamed up with Jeff at agassiz he took the lead and I followed as we busted a road 8 miles. It was a little nerve racking yet exhilarating. At the 6 mile mark Jeff could no longer see out of his windshield and it was my turn to take the lead shocked smiley Another two miles and we had to stop do to a ice heave cool smiley. There was one pile that was close to 10 feet high and would be interesting to fish by. I also saw a couple of other areas that were very intriguing
Tomorrow the deluxe houses will be going out on to the lake smile smileyI will have to sleep on it tonight before I decide where to go. There has been some awful good walleye fishing in and around Alaska but are goal again this year is to target crappie with walleye as a secondary fish grin smiley Reports will follow as I have fishermen coming on Wednesday through out the weekend.

Dang CK, you were not kidding when you said that you were "spreading you wings" so to speak. Your thoughts and input are greatly appreciated. As you can tell, ever since your ordeal, I have been visiting other sites as well. My username is different on the site you left.

Jeff's road is in pretty good shape. I would say it is 4 lanes wide at this time.We will continue to punch off shoots off the main road so fishermen can get away from the road,If you need a spot just track me down in the red baron I should be able to help out.We are here to help the fishermen catch fish. With the hard packed snow it can be tough getting off the road. There is some areas that have a good amount of slush under the snow banks to the south. If it looks wet it probably is so be careful going through those spots

I guess I should rephrase that "stay away from the snow banks as there is slush under them'
