Went out on Friday for a few hours on Coon Lake. 2:00-4:00PM..maybe 10 inches of ice. A pickup was out on the lake but I didn't want to risk it. We were right by the south side of the channel. A million Sunfish mostly tiny. This would be a great area for some tipUps (a lot of people around us were pulling in big pikes).. I only had my ultra light set up since this was a spur of the moment fishing stop. Any way, I didn't do bad. A 31-32 Inch northern and 18.5 In LRG mouth. Fun fights on the uberskinny pole I just purchased.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
