Thanks for developing this site I am hoping to learn more about what baits and lures and colors fish are biting on, rather than honey holes in certain lakes. Usually when I get hot tips they are not so hot at all. I can tell you that in the lindstrom area lakes the crappies seem to hit non glowing tear drops versus glow jigs. I am not so sure about glow jigs period . Usually creatures that glow or have very bright colors in nature are very posinous , mabye the fish know this.Sure they see the glow better but that may actually be a bad thing, since you are lighting up the line that the jig is tied to and lighting up the hook .Just my thoughts, but when you sit in a portable all day you do a lot of thinking.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
