Hey guys, I am nearing my annual trip to lakeof the woods over new years. This year is a little differant, it seems we have more snow and what seems to be less ice. Anyone have any impute on how the ice is looking up there? Thank you in advance.
There is 5-9 inches of ice in Four Mile Bay to Pine Island. The River is not ready yet. There is also good ice on the North side of Pine Island to Morris Point. Plus its going to be cold and that means ice is being made by the minute.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
