I have 1 deep cylce all ready, but I was wondering if I should buy a optima for my second??? I will have a generator to charge the batteries, but I don't want to run it all the time... I will use one for lights and the other for the furnace..... What should I be looking at????????

Optimas are the the best in my opinion but they are pricey. Make sure when charging you use a trickle charger.

I also agree opitma's are 1 step from amazing but again make sure you trickle charge they are very sensative but definatly worth the money. I belive batteris plus has a sale on them right now.

I have 5 Optima batteries in my boat and I have never had a problem. I like problem free boats which is not possible but I try.
