Hello everybody! As a few of you know one of my good friends works for a company called Sportsman's Connection. They make fishing map guides and just recently atlases. (See the link in my signature). I was wondering if any of you guys have used any of their products and if so what do you think of them? (be honest)
Personally, I find the map guides helpful for finding new lakes and fishing unfamiliar territory. I have yet to get my hands on one of the new atlases but if anyone has checked them out what do you think?
That's a great site you got going there, MuskiePhil. Pricing seems very reasonable too. I checked out the Brainerd area and you get Mille Lacs along with 140 other lakes... all for $21.95... very reasonable. I see you have some examples of what your maps look like. I hope you don't mind, but I am linking one here to give the users a taste of what they could get...
I just picked up the Computer software that they have. It is the book on a disc. I got a disc of North minnesota (info for over 1500 lakes) and over a 1000 lake maps. Also A disc of South Minnesota. I think the disc holds two of the books, maybe more. Anyways, Gander Mountain by maplewood mall has them on clearance for $10 each. Marked down from 40.
