He is my friend with an aligator gar he caught in Texas. I'm never swiming in the lakes down there.. ooo smiley He's about 6'6" tall..

That is saweeeet! Seeing one of those on the end of your line might make you totally forget what a walleye looks like!

What a horse! If a guy is lucky enough to ever put one of that stature in the boat you might just keep the picture as your wallpaper for your desktop!

Hey Scumfrog..did you happen to get any stats on this fish? Anthing like weight, length, or girth?

He is over 6 feet tall, and the fish weighed 176 pounds.

Doug Stange has done a few shows catching those things.. one of the episodes they ended up having to use ropes/lasso's with slip knots because they couldn't get it in the boat with the sling they were trying.



Even a BAD day of fishing is better than a good day of work; paydays excluded!

HOLY .... dude i never seen 1 of those befor.

Id never swim or fish or get near the water that stuff is crazy.

kinda cool to but if i realed in my line and had that on it. I wouldnt take the time to cut the line. id just drop my pole and run.
