Been getting some sunnies and a few crappies off of Florida, Nest, and Andrew along the 10- to 15-foot weedlines. You might catch an ocassional walleye on Green in 30+ feet of water. The weedlines of Andrew also are worth checking for eyes at sundown. Green has also been doing pretty good for smallies. Crawlers are working best for walleyes on Green. If your wanting largemouths their biting well on Long Lake.
thanks guys. we went for a short weekend and did pretty well. caught a lot of largemouth, nothing to big. my brother in law did get 3 nice ones, two around 4lb's and lost one thta made our jaw drop. nice lake though.
If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
