just been reading the weather on wcco web site found out big sandy had this ..

Hail m0.88 inch, reported by amateur radio.

I talked to my grandparents who live up there during the summer, and they said the had baseball size hail and they saved some in the freezer for evidence. I guess it wrecked lots of things, but they are ok. I sure hope my parents don't need a new roof, we just put one on two years ago!

Thank the good gracious there were a few retired guys that were covering up campers after the hail so they didnt get to much water damage! If you live around Big Sandy Lake you might want to check on your stuff!

heard the storms just missed me here at brainerd guess i got lucky this time confused smiley

the last storm we had here had winds 80mph and lots of hail looks like you got away with just hail and no wind..
