So my brother works at Gander Mountain and you can be sure I'm abusing his discount. He pointed me towards a Medium action Rod/Reel Combo by Pfluger. Looked decent and worked great on my trip in Canada. Two weeks later I was using it at my cabin on Elm Island lake and the stupid thing snapped. A three week old rod. Just snapped right in two, just below the third eyelet from the top. I like the reel so now I need to get a good rod that WON'T snap. Any suggestions? Keep in mind, I'm a poor college kid so I don't want to be spending a butt-load. Thanks!
