Tues. was a good night for me. This lake has a catch and release for bass and we got into them. I caught:1-18.5",1-17.5",1-17",about 3or4 16.5" along with some smaller. My new fishing buddy caught:1-17.5",1-17",along with a few smaller. My catch calculated to 15lbs. which got me in second in our tourney. It was a awesome day! smile smiley

I had a very similiar day on that body of water about three weeks ago in a BASS club tournament. Overall the whole tournament field did well. I know that texas rigged plastics were very succesful as well as skipping docks. I personally got into them with a green pumpkin Paca Craw texas rigged with a 3/8 oz green pumpkin tungsten weight. (unpegged) I fished deeper than most in 10 to about 20 feet of water. Points, ledges and humps.

Care to share your stratedgy? Please don't be to specific. Just an idea. Good outing!

Happy Fishing!!

I use the texas rig most of the time. Purple powerbaits are a favorite, but got a load of others. We stumbled across a healthy patch of weeds(bright green) in 8-10ft. that was unlike most of the shoreline. But they were all in this one area the size of 2 school busses. They were thick...
