Tues. was a good night for me. This lake has a catch and release for bass and we got into them. I caught:1-18.5",1-17.5",1-17",about 3or4 16.5" along with some smaller. My new fishing buddy caught:1-17.5",1-17",along with a few smaller. My catch calculated to 15lbs. which got me in second in our tourney. It was a awesome day!
I had a very similiar day on that body of water about three weeks ago in a BASS club tournament. Overall the whole tournament field did well. I know that texas rigged plastics were very succesful as well as skipping docks. I personally got into them with a green pumpkin Paca Craw texas rigged with a 3/8 oz green pumpkin tungsten weight. (unpegged) I fished deeper than most in 10 to about 20 feet of water. Points, ledges and humps.

I use the texas rig most of the time. Purple powerbaits are a favorite, but got a load of others. We stumbled across a healthy patch of weeds(bright green) in 8-10ft. that was unlike most of the shoreline. But they were all in this one area the size of 2 school busses. They were thick...
