im planning on buying a floe dock. anybody have any recommendations? i did a lot of looking at various brands, and ultimately chose floe. have any of you fellas had any or heard about any probs with that brand?

ps also looking for a good type of lift - something to hold a very large boat (21' LUND) in very choppy water - any recommendations?

I looked at a lot of docks this year and was REALLY impressed with Floe's system. Never get in the water? - Thats a little dreamy, but is pretty accurate with them.

By the by - I chose a dock by Walks on Water (in Clear Lake and Brainerd) because of price. Not as easy a syatem, but I can level with comeali=ongs as easily as the screw that Floe incorporates. I chose it simply based on economics. The price was roughly half what the Floe distributor wanted.

AFter fighting a DAKA dock and lift for years, I bit the bullet and bought a new Floe dock and lift... it was the best money I have ever spent on lake equipment. If I didn't have to get in the water to connect my rope, I could have removed everything without getting wet.

Not trying to plug any dealers, but Forest Lake Motor Sports did me right...

P.S. do NOT use the online configuration tool as your price guideline.. prices are approx 35% cheaper at the dealer. Also, make sure the dealer HAS all the dock / lift parts.. MOST dealers don't...
