I usually do the bucketmouth thing, but a pal of mine talked me into gloing to Koronis up by St. Cloud. I had never even heard of the lake. We fished pretty early until2:30 pm and caught quite a few different kinds. My buddy usually does walleye, so that is pretty much whet we went for. We ended up with 7 nice eaters and caught 14 all together. largest was at 22' which we let go. Caught a very nics smallie over 17" and a couple of bucketmouths to boot. Along with that we caught 2 northerns, perch, rockbass and sunnies.

I might have to go back there again.

I love days when you get a little bit of everything. My favorite lake is known to give you all kinds of fish on a daily basis. We will catch walleye, gills, perch, rock bass, pike, crappie, and largemouth all in the same afternoon. Its even better when you can get a 20 inch eye, 10 inch gill, 13 inch perch and 14 inch crappie all in the same 3 hour window without moving the boat.

Well,

I hit the same lake again this weekend. What a nice little lake to go to. Pretty much a mirror image of the last time I was there. Caught a wide variety at a pace that kept me interested. I called my pal and thanked him.

Hey bigfish,

I always like to get reports on lake close enough to drive to for a day.

I might have to check this one out.

Thanks!
