By boat / canoe / kayak?
Piers?
Shore?
Just thought i would post this in case those that are shore fishermen might meet someone from their area that fish from boats in hopes of having a new fishing partner to join them. I fish from a canoe %99 of the time and always willing to take others out. If i am pressed for time i will take a quick ride to a pier otherwise.

no piers here ,but the Mississippi &Willow are close for shore fishing
or by boat. 368 lakes to hit,but mostly 6 that are real close.
Canoes are fun ,they are so stealthy!

Stealth is a big key to fishing anywhere I believe.

Yup, in clear or shallow water a fish will spook easier.

Usually a pontoon or off the dock, but almost always with a BOBBER DOWN! Unless it's not working, then I will switch it up.

Does anyone ever use those float tubes? I always was curious how well they work and just how much gear you can take with one of those. Do you need to wear fins too while in a float tube?

Both shore and Boat for me, I do want to do some canoe or float tube fishing in the near future for sure...

With all the great fishing lakes along with the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers here in the Metro MPLS area we have a ton of great shore fishing spots.

This time of year for shore fishing I'm focusing on Catfish both Flatheads and Channels, we also have some Creeks that Nofish, BD and myself frequent for multi specia action.

The shore fishing is a blast I bring a chair rigged with my Scotty rod holder throw out a bullie or Cut bait and sit back and relax.

Sometimes a big one will bite. smile smiley
Caught this one off of Barge tie off Pier!

Shore fishing is real convenient we will often order Pizza especially if kids and the gals are with.

I do prefer boat fishing whenever possible nothing like sitting on the River after dark with the whole place to yourself and having the clicker go off.

Got this one out of the boat a while back.
