Hey all! I am really excited to be headed to to my in-laws cabin on Minnewawa for a whole week! I am definitely fishing there and Mille Lacs for some awesome bass fishing but I was wondering about the walleyes and crappies. My Father is joining me from Colorado and I know he is wanting some walleye action and also a few slab crappies. Any info would be helpful for any lake in the area and also Big Sandy. It is o.k. to be vague. I understand. Just some general direction and I will do the work from there. I specialize in bass fishing but will admit that my walleye game has taken a back seat the last couple of years. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

I'll keep an eye open for the RED RANGER.
We did tag a few once we found them. Here's a couple 16"s and an 18 I took home to eat.

No ten pounders tonight but the action was there.

Minnewawa is ok for eyes during the day being stained.
The pike are small & it has some bass.
There's plenty of shoreline to work ,that's for sure.
I know of a place that has monster smallies & pike in it ,but it's 40 minutes away ,but when your are hooked up to a brick sh%t house ,who cares! laugh smiley
Gotta go with heavy gear in there.
I love trolling through the submerged trees(still standing) and pulling out 15-20 lb. pike on the average. Those football smallies tire a guy out too. They eat way to good on those trout.
