Someone I talk to online about Fishing.. has got me asking for an opinion here...

He says I caught a 'Spotted Muskie,' back on May 27th, while I'm pretty positive this is just like all the other Pike I've caught over the years. The reason I'm asking is Muskie fishing is his thing in Wisconsin, and I've never heard a Muskie report in the St. Louis River outside of the Duluth fishing spots.

Actually Scumfrog..

Muskies have 6 or MORE Pike have 6 or LESS.. I'm still positive (just like everyone else here)it's a Pike but the guy was adamant that it was a Spotted Muskie.. said people buy them from pet stores and then release them when they realize they're too big.

I only take the pictures.. I don't keep them out of water long enough to count holes and stuff, but I'm positive it's just another Pike to go with the many others I catch & release.
