Okay, a quick review. Men vs women, most weight brought in wins. Last time I posted I received lots of great information on Pike fishing, and I can not wait to try this out. Is pike the right choice in this little family fish-off? Or would pan fish be the more likely candidate? What do you guys think? It is the week of July 4th.

Thanks.

I think both Herby, maybe a total fish or total of each species or longest fish of either species have a few different category's.

You want every fish to count in some way especially with kids involved even rock bass and perch, bullhead just in case it's a slow Crappie or Northern day.

Any one else have some thoughts for Herby.

A lot of this is going to depend on the lake. For a lake with lots of sunnies, that's what I would go for. Especially if they were big ones. Of course, if you catch two 20 lb. northerns, it would pretty much wipe out your total sunny catch in poundage.
