I know that spinner color can often make a difference on live bait rigs, but what do you think about bead color? Go with the same color as the spinner, or try to mix it up? Stick to the standard bait colors (chart. orange, yellow) or can you get a little crazy?
I guess i'v seen multi colored beed patterns on spinners. In my thinking tho I like to keep to the same color with difrent shades like light to dark or if your useing green mix black with it, smeems like fish like those dark shades mixed in with the bright color patters but do some experimenting with it try multi colored beed patterns the sky is the limit maybe you will stumble on to a hot pattern
I don't do enough freshwater fishing to have a personal opinion but my brother-in-law who fishes 3-4 days a week swears by red, regardless of spinner color. He won't use any other color. He catches a lot of fish, but whether there is something to it I don't know.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
