Well, we took our yearly pilgrimage to Bald Eagle on Saturday. The action was great. We couldn't keep the crappies off the line. Went out with Woodtic and my daughter. The problem was the weather. Very windy and when it started to rain, we decided to call it quits. We caught around 50, a few nice bass too. We got out on the water around 11 am and left at around 2:30 pm. Not bad for a few hours work. The rain and wind definitely put a damper on things, though.
If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
