I just thought ask is anyone picking up garbage they find will fishing?
Is anyone teaching & taking kids out fishing?

Since openers is about 1 month away I'd like to remind everyone to take their garbage & others garbage home to dispose of it properly.

Our ditches & accesses become full after the big weekends.
It's amazing how many bags I fill up going on a 6 mile round trip.

Great topic CK!! I think everyone could always do more to make sure our resources stay healthy! It sure isn't to much to ask!

Just a thought but maybe we should plan a Myfishingpals outing and clean up some lakes. We would all do good and could get some added publicity
to this website.

I Agree Great Topic! Lets not forget about Cigarette Butts. Just a reminder, if you're a smoker please don't put them in our lakes. It really take no effort to put them in a empty can or something else. Just don't throw them overboard.
Thanks,

Good reminder.

Cigarette butts are my one big annoyance. Sometimes I wish I drove around with a paint ball gun in my car so I could mark the cars of people who throw their butts out the window.

Cleaning up garbabge and taking a kid fishing are two pretty easy things we can all do to make the world a little more tolerable.

This is our yearly ritual,we live on lake fannie so when the ice goes out and the pannies arn't going yet we get in the boat and slow cruise the shoreline picking trash, the boys love this because it good for the lake and plus all the cool stuff we find, basketballs footballs, floats, etc. Thats what we do. smile smiley FINGRIN
