I was thinking of trying to find a guide for Leech Lake while up in Bemidji in early July. Anyone know any Musky guides for that lake or near lakes, and is it even worth while to go for Muskies that time of year?
If you dont find a guide, i could recommend some spots to try. I by no means am a superb musky fisherman, but ive logged many hours dragging a lindy rig across leech for walleye and have figured out where the musky fisherman work. ps - better have a nice boat if you want to get around on leech, and a large checkbook for gas
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
