Sag, is one of my favorite lakes to spend a 4-5 days. I have not been their in 3 years now, as walleye fishing (for us) has been really slow. I have a trip into Basswood this spring and then in late july I am taking my wife and another couple to Sag. for a 5 day campimg/fishing trip.....Just woundering if things have been improving the past year or 2....or is it still slow. I noticed on the reservation site that basswood is full (overnight motor) and Sag, seems to have plenty of openings....Not a good sign.
Thanks fellas.....I guess I should have given a quick hello to everyone first. Have to say this looks like a great site and look forward to getting to know all of you and or course....getting those tips to help improve my fishing.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
