I think we can just all meet out there. Here's directions.
Take 65 north from McGregor. It's around 10 miles to CR#14 which has Sathers grocery & hardware on the intersection. If you go past it & see the Pier65 you went too far. Anyway go right or east on 14 about 7 miles to 520th and take a left. You'll see a few CYC signs at the intersection, also a gas pump is all by itself on the corner were the Trading Post used to be.
go about 1/2 mile & you'll go down this big hill, once at the bottom you'll see lake on both sides of you.go past the culvert & there will be a parking lot on the right. You can park there & 4 wheel it out or we may be driving vehicles yet. I'll have a 4 wheeler & trailer to use for a shuttle for those that do not have a wheeler.
The temps are dropping again so everything was froze up this A.M.& it looks like the normal ice out will be mid April. We still have 3 foot of ice. You can call me @ 218-845-8801 after 7:30 pm or in the A.M. after 7:30A.M. & before 10A.M
The bite starts at 7a.m. & tapers towards noon then picking up late afternoon to just before dark.
I'll try to have a few signs up.
