Just a reminder to everyone that fishes in Minnesota you will need a New 2007 Fishing License and New Shelter Tag for your portable if you plan on fishing after Wednesday evening at midnight.
Those of you who hunt may want to get the Sports license which includes Fishing and small game hunting.

The fines these days a pretty steep so I'd suggest getting this done before venturing out.

Yup, I picked up my Sportsman husband/wife combo with all the stamps plus my shelter license today. Ran me $81.00, but I'm good to go for 2007 unless I decide to deer hunt then I'll shell out some more to the state. ooo smiley

Mine was $71, Sportsman along with Trout stamp, Sturgeon Tag, State Pheasant and Duck stamps plus my Shelter Tag.

Money well spent IMO.

No need for the Sturgeon Tag to fish for them, I get the Sturgeon tag just in case I can't revive a big fish. It's only an Extra $5.

I had gift certicate left over so I got most of it in one shot.

Normally I would spread it out over the year and buy as needed I know it get expensive especially for the Deer hunters.
