I just wanted to let you folks know that nobody bites on this website register and start posting I have been to alot of fishing websites and this one is the best. Anything you want to post just do it. Nothing gonna happen to you except these people are going to do the best to help you. Little do you know that your information will help us. This site doesnt claim to know everything but there going to try there best to help you. So register and start posting I think we would all like that. Hope to see you soon
Age old problem... lots of guests, lots of users, few posts...well you can't force them to post. Since I made the registration process a little more difficult by adding an email response, I get about 5 new registrations per day. Of those 5, I get about 3 a day that never respond to the email response and 2 a day that do respond. Of those that do respond, I get about 1 every 3rd day that actually post on the forums. So, in the span of 2 weeks, it breaks down like this...
70 new registrations 42 never respond to the email to verify registration 28 respond to the email verification 5 actually post on the forums
Not sure how to rectify this... it's just the way it is.
CK I think that most people are a little intimidated to post at first thinking it might be lets say dumb or something but once they do and there question gets answered or at least gets talked about they start feeling they are a part of this site and thats what will keep them coming back with more posts and I think they need to get past thier first post and the ball will start rolling for them.So start posting and lets talk fishing or whatever comes to mind.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
