Dude called me up last night to go out this morning. I was somewhat reluctant ,but what the hey sure I said. I had my limit in 2 hours ,before Rick had any. I punched a hole next to me and he started the count down. I know I had 1 of my best days this winter so far. I counted over 40 by noon. These were 12 inches each..
On days like today ,I'll just rotate my hours to noon to 8. I'm glad I live close to the lake and have a buddy that is as much of a fishing whore as I am. I should add BD that I gave up a good job down there to do what I do now.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
