I would like to take my son fishing in MN for his 16th birthday in June 2007. I would like a guide with furnished tackle and lodging. Does anyone have any suggestions to offer. What species of fish should we go after at that time of year? Any info will be appreciated.
Not knowing where you are located and how far you are traveling...Mille lacs is great lake but if windy for a few days your left out, no where to hide...If distance is no problem, what could be better than Rainy Lake. Hundreds of square miles of water, 10,000 islands and bays to hide in if windy.....The great feel of the BWCA, without the motor restrictions.. Tons of great guides with lake and area knowledge and lodging of all kinds from camping to 5 star resorts. and fish??? about any species outside of sharks...... Have a great time!!
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
