Mmmmm... I can't find anything on the subject. In fact, I cannot find anything in any lakes in Minnesota.

I believe thats true. You can not cook your daily catch while on the ice.
I just have known about it ,not actually read anything about it.
I'll try to call a C.O. to get a ruling today.

Here it is.....
If there is a slot limit you can not clean the fish that need to be measured.
Like on Mille Lacs ,however you could eat the perch as long as you still count those eaten as part of your daily limit.

I have read this ruling on another site before.

If the lake you are fishing has a slot limit you are not allowed to fillet the fish while on the ice. The fish must be intact to allow the CO to take a measurement when needed.

If you stop at another lake IE..LOW, don't bring that catch out on the lake with you either. I have heard of people needing to prove where they caught them.
