Well guys, I haven't posted many pics lately so I thought I would finally post some that have been sitting around for awhile.
Here is a decent Gill caught on a lake near Duluth, this is an average fish for this lake, they get alot bigger. Caught in mid-late July I think.
And here is the reason I lost a pig walleye right at the boat a few minutes after the gill was caught. The net man was fast asleep. He'll never live it down I promise.
Here is the same lake only mid december of this winter. No fish in the picture but its still cool I think. The two guys in the picture are my dad and uncle.
Here is an attempt at art, its an extreme close up of the ice and the small air bubbles in it.
ANd now for even more random pictures. This was taken on our trip to Austria a few years ago. The town is called Hallstatt and you can see that it basically hangs onto the edge of a cliff. The only way to get there is either a horendous drive through the mountains or you can do what most people do and that is take a train to a spot across the lake from the town and a boat is there to pick you up and take you across the lake to the town.
I think that will do it for now. I just thought I would share some funny or cool pics I have taken over the last year or so.
Webdude feel free to add the picture of the gill if you feel it is worthy.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
