I can show you where to go ,but the size just is not there for the most part. I've read the DNR's report on stocking surveys & they say the same thing. There are many nice walleye lakes close to BSL for big eyes.
I've caught them in Davis,Bill Horn ,the main lake,by the dam,the narrows.

Fisheye01, Like CK, I have many spots on that lake to catch walleyes. And I have to agree with him, for the most part they are small fish. The two biggest walleyes I've seen out of that lake have been caught off my parents dock, both on the opener in different years. One was 26-1/2" and the other was 27-1/2", both were released to be caught another day. Maybe we should wait until spring and then we can hook up and go out together. How does that sound? Do you have a place on the lake?

BD I am not so much worried about size I am looking for a little more consistency. I have a place near the old Oles resort my parents purchased it in 1978 after fishing it for many years I have found that there is really no spots that I consistenly catch Walleye it is one here or one there I live in Illinois and only got to fish the lake 1 or 2 times a year and pretty much fished for big Northern and Bass but for the last 3 years I have been able to spend about 30 days on the water fished nothing but Walleye without great numbers I would love to hook up in Spring usually the first week of June and spend some time on the water thanks for the offer

I've been on BSL since I was a squirt in my dad's shoe. Grew up across from The Pleasure Palace or The Sand Bar as it is now known by.
The past 5 yr's me and the bud's have limited out on eye's every opener. 6' of water, small red jigs tipped with med fatheads, slow troll and snap jig. Watch vex for signs of life, if none move to another area. Found most around points and islands.
5 guys 5 limits of eye's, perch and crappies. Even with a big perch shore lunch.
