I do check the solunar tables once in a while. A good bite generally seems to follow the tables. I have found, however, times when you could throw the table out. I would say it can be about 65% accurate if I was trying to rate it.
I have found the table rather informative and will look to see how the fish are biting on any given day. Wouldn't keep me off the lake though. Even if it says the fishing will be lousy, I'd rather be on the water :-)
I can't stand Full Moon cycles it is by far the worst fishing time as far as my expierence goes........of course the Mille Lacs Fall Full Moon is very good.......other then that it;s real bad fishing for me for the most part.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
