Hey! I found a boat yesterday, and it's sitting in my backyard on its trailer now. It's a 1967, 14'7" Glastron Fish 'n Ski center console tri-hull, with an ancient 1958 Johnson 35 hp, but in good condition.

Now the work begins. I have to rewire the trailer, re-upholster the seats, and who knows what else...all before the water goes soft on us.

It's more boat than I was looking for, but the price was definitely right. I'm jazzed! See ya on the water!

Hmm... Never came up before, but I am going to have to add something in the want ads about something that was found. Will fix it on Monday.

Glad you got your boat MineralMan... ya better get busy!

Sounds like a fun project MineralMan.

Hey, thanks for the link! I've been there already, but it may be helpful for other folks, too. I have a factory service manual coming for that Johnson, and I'll start working on it on the first decent day.

There's work to do on the trailer, too. It needs new lights, and I think I'll put on the submersible LED ones, despite their cost. It also has no jack in front, so I'm adding that, too.

The boat is going to need new carpeting, at least, along with some seat upholstery, but there isn't a lot of that, since it's a center console walkaround. The swivel seat at the console is fine.

Right now, there's an inch of ice in the bottom of the interior, so that's going to have to wait until a thaw.

What fun, eh? But...I'll be on the water by the opener!

Okay, I've added a "found" function in the want ads. I mean, if you are looking for something and you have found it, why not mark it "found?"

Good idea, but I couldn't find the function. I see that you marked the boat wanted as found, but can't see how you do it as a user....

You can't do it as a user. I guess maybe I could add that functionality to it. Might be a while, I am swamped at work.

Not a problem. The classifieds section is not heavily used, in any case.

Hopefully I can change that!
