Make sure you stop & get a 5$ set of ice cleats. You know the kind that are rubber & pull over your boot. Most of the snow is gone so it'll be slippery. Iceman is bringing a grill.I'm bringing the 4 wheeler & trailer for a shuttle. I'll post MFP's sign on Co rd.14 & 520th & at the access .We'll be by the 3 red ice fishing houses at the point if they are still there.
We are 10-15 degrees colder. The ice is 8-10 of good ice.I've seen cars on it.I'd not drive it yet with a car ,but 4 wheelers are just fine. This is not the metro or out west.We have good clear ice. The signs will be up.Just make sure you take a right at Sather's store on co rd 14,then after you cross the prairie river it is about a mile to 520th.Watch for the sign.Take a left go 1 mile & you are there.
If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
