Fished Fri sat and sunday morning. Fishing was good, not great all four of us managed to bring home our four walleyes but only a couple saugers. Two 26ers and a 27 also came through the hole along with a 36 in northern. Myself I got hit with that darn flu on satudrday and spent the day puking and sleeping in the otter sled. All in all a pretty good trip except for the flu. Resorts were running jeeps and small vehicles as well as a few bombers. Things should be in full swing up there soon. Heading back up Friday for the day.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
