I bought another FL-8SE so he or whoever is with me can fish the same way I do.Now I can teach them the tactics in lifting the fish to bite. I got a kick outta him when in a panick he says,"Dad we forgot the minnows."Then he hands me the jigs with a big grin ""here's the deadliest minnows ever dad"& then more giggling. He was laughing at the guys struggling with the finicky fish using minnows that were too big.He gets it.It didn't take him long to get it down either. They did get real tough mid morning & I still caught them .I then explained that his up & down motion was too much.He then slowed his movements down & started to pick up fish again.Once you get em moving up do not go down. They stop& try to stay below their prey I told him.He saw there was much more too it & when we got done he gave me a hug.He told me how cool it was that I was helping him become deadly.A tear welled up in my eye,& I told him "your my boy ,I can't have you out here embarrasing me getting skunked."

People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
