Well as I said I'd be out there.It was a little more work ,but what the hey.I got another FL-8 SE and had to try it out.
I tied up my poles with new springs & spooled them with fresh line.
My son & I went out.nothing big was caught ,but we did alot of laughing .

Here's the 8 with no fish readind,oh bottom is at 11 o'clock.

Heres a couple vids.We nailed 50 or so in a 2 hour span.


It was a blast to spend time with my boy & laughing together did my heart good.

I had to get out.We should be able to walk on it by this weekend.I checked out Big Sandy & she's a little thin yet.
Here's a few more picks.The fish were small but a dinner of fresh crappie sitting there in my lazyboy stuffed .IT'S ALL GOOD.A plate full is a plate full.

I worked the path back & forth as they moved.It was fun I'll say,but I'll be looking for slabs soon.

the ice was almost 2" & it make 3/4" every night.

No names,I looked.
The fish are in 18 feet suspended in 14 -16 rising to 11 to take the jig.
I put my worm down & nailed them too.
