So I went to St. Louis this weekend...On Sunday, my wife and I stopped at the Bass Pro in St. Louis. She said, honey, here is your allowance, go have fun. smile smiley But...I had trouble finding stuff I wanted to buy. Why is it when we have the money, I walk around looking at stuff saying...I don't need it, and when I have no money (most of the time) I want everything. Now I did end up spending my allowance. Lot's of frogs, worms and a new reel smile smiley

The biggest problem I have.. in those situations.. is .. I know I can usually find the stuff a little cheaper at L&M Supply here.. if anyone hasn't been to the one in Cloquet off of Hwy 33.... they have just about everything you'd need for a season, aside from the really good reels.

I walked through Gander Mountain on hwy 53 north of Duluth (Hermantown) one afternoon, I needed a reel spooled anyway... I found a couple things I knew were cheaper(some plastics).. but otherwise....

Even a BAD day of fishing is better than a good day of work; paydays excluded!

I'm the same way when i sit here at home paging through the Cabelas catalog, but when I get there my common sense strikes me.
As to L&M ,I bought my FL-8 there for $269.00 Such a deal!
