Just a quick update, I hit the river a few times last week I've been trying some new things, plastics have been pretty slow but they should pick up as the water temp drops "62 degrees at this point" Ring worms have produced nothing so far but Mimic Minnows have put a few fish in the boat, I have also tried pitching cranks and Hair Jigs in and around Wing Dams with limited success. As usual trolling Crank Baits has put fish in the boat and still is my best weapon. The white Bass are starting to school up you can see and hear them chasing bait-fish all over the River.
Nice Whitey.

Smallies are really fighting, this one fought like a 20"er.
It looks like you are still using that firetiger crank bait to put a hurt on them! It also looks like you caught 3 or 4 species of fish on the one bait. Isn't that the most fun part of river fishing-- how you can catch so many different species --sometimes on successive casts! Congrats--looks like a good couple of outings. Oh, by the way--did the sauger come on a crankbait as well?
