This is just a reminder to all of you who are part of the dock team on BSL, that this weekend we will be taking them out. The weekend of the 7th and 8th. I think we should have about 6 docks, and 8 lifts if I counted right, I look forward to seeing everyone and getting it DONE! Then we can go hunting with ck smile smiley
dude, thanks for moving it, i always forget to put it in the right spot.

I'll be up there. Just let me know when and were. CK I'd like to stop by your place and check it out for deer. We can do that while we are grouse hunting.

ck,
I'm not sure on that one... It depends when I come up, i might not be coming up until Saturday morning. If I'm up on Friday with PB, I'm sure we could hunt until 9:00 and then get the work done. i will talk to some people and see whats going on. I know Mike and Vik will not be joining us this time, but my brother Jason might want in. I will have to let you know on Thurs/Fri.

That sounds good. How long does it take you guys to pull the docks?

I've got this scrape line that I was working last year. It's about 100 yards long & a big boy working it. Never did get him ,but I had a chance.
We'll want to set up in that area.I ended up taking a nubbin for eating.Well I shot a couple ,but 1 from that area.
there are guys around the area pushing deer too so I like the spot. I can drive there on my 4 wheeler & walk a short distance to my tree.
So SF do you have a portable climber. This is not state, but county land so you can leave a stand in the tree.

ck,
That all depends on who and how many people we have for the project. I would say we could probably do all of the docks and lifts in about 4-5 hours. that also depends on the weather, if it is really windy, it could take longer! Oh yeah, and I will have to see how my back/neck is doing, because right now it's not good mad smiley

Well Scumfrog either way sat morning I'll be at my home by 10 am.
Now if you are pulling docks ,you could be to my place by 4 pm.
That would give us 3 hours for some birds & a chance to scout out my deer area. I've not been in there as of yet.I am wanting too,but at the same time I'm not wanting to scent up the area either. This is the big mans home territory & I'd love to bag him or you to bag him.
I put doeboy on an 11 pointer 2 years ago.I had a chance ,but he never stepped out & the doe he was chasing got downwind from me & snorted which made him fly. That night the buck was chasing that doe with his nose up her butt & did not even see doeboy standing there with his 30.06.Now that buck hangs on doeboy's wall.I saw the tag elders leaning over from sode to side as that big guy laid it over with his rack. 1 or 2 steps & he would have been mine.
now I got this other big guy that I think did not get shot last year so he should still be in there. I want him ,bad!!!

Big D,

I’m going to be up. Hopefully it all goes smooth and the pain can be dampened with dinner cocktails.
