smile smiley This summer was a real good one . caught lots of sunnies, croppies, northerns and some walleyes. The best day I had was When I caught 2 northern in the same day both 7 to 10 lbs a piece . Not 5 minnnutes passed when I realeased the first northern when I landed the second one. I released that one to. You may think I'am stupid or dumb for releasing both but I was not going to have either one mounted. I believe that some fish need to be released especially 5pounds upwards. We need to be able to pass fishing on to future generations pluss may the next person who catches those two fish will have just as much fun as I did and maybe just maybe they will release them to to pass on the fun that I had.

Bye for now Pebo one

My summer was better wink smiley I caught some BASS as well smile smiley didn't catch a single Largemouth this year but that to me is because the water levels were wayyyyyyyyyyyy down.

By the way.. I release all that I catch.

I though it to be average. It got too hot for awhile which pushed alot of fish deeper.

smile smileyI had the best largemouth summer in years. We never had a day that we didn't catch at least a couple big hawgs, and many days that we could have won any tourny in the area. Had an awfull lot of 4 plus pounders this season. Released everyone this year! The highlight of the season was when I was fishing and found a Plano lure storage box, floating in a couple feet of water with 50 brand new Rapala shad raps in it. cool smiley

Also, a great year for Rock bass. I landed a few 10 inch rockies this year.

I caught a few hundred walleyes,50 northerns,and a mixed bag of largemouth,smallies,rockies,gills,crappies & perch.My biggest was an 11 lb.pike then a 8 3/4 lb walleye.My biggest crappie so far this year is 14" & the biggest gill was 11".
I've been hunting every night after work as Buck makes me take him.He only gets 2 months of bird action so it is hard to refuse him.
Once we get by deer hunting it will be back to ice for some slabbers. Boy am I getting a hankerin for a crappie meal from the cold water. Nothin better in my book when it comes to eating fish..
